Ng Bbs Vs /b/

So I used to spend a fair amount of time on the BBS back when i was around about 14/15 many years ago. It became my favourite place to sit back and chat shit with fun people.

Then someone introduced me to /b/ with some of the most messed up and stupid humor I have ever witnessed. I did Indeed enjoy my time there but after many years I have come back to the BBS and returned to what feels like a more comfortable and friendly environment. I do not know wether this is just me looking at this place through rose tinted glasses after experiencing Anon for such a long time. But it feels nice to be back in the nice environment.

Why would you compare an entire forum to a single board on a forum?
Even if /b/ gets just as much traffic as newgrounds, if not more, it's still a pretty bad comparison.

It really is nice, I did the same myself, except the majority of people really can't handle /b/ as an entity, at least, not for a very long time. Where as I would surf that /b/itch fa hours in the wintertimes. NG can be a place of intelligence, but as that seems to be growing in truth, we are losing the fucking awesome flash we got in earlier years of NG.

I have no intentions to start one, I have never said /b/ was bad or the BBS was good, Im just saying there is a massive difference and this seems to be filled with more relaxed and happier people who are more content to put their name to a post and thats a nice difference to /b/ which i have been on since 2006. I just missed here.

tha base line is that people on b get away with things under the assumption of complete freedom.
evident in the reason that they post porn-child mutilation-objectify women- attack other sites-post tits or gtf0-talk about rape, pain, cutting, hurt, deviancy, and all other forms of things, and then then fade away into a sea of users

here we take responsibility for our posts, for our very name, and for the most part the mods are good at runting out users that break very strict rules..

its the difference between a back room school classroom and a raging mob on the street,
here things are monitored by the teachers and the walls confine us but we are free to walk out the door to go to a different class

there its a mob, there is ALWAYS something happening and you can f5 your life away and never see a thing duplicated, but it also comes at the cost of the users humanity,
some of the more fucked up things that happen on the net, as for hacking destroying, implicating, and countless acts of mischief have happened under the shroud of what the outside world calls /b or 4chan or btards or clover-heads

b is untraceable thought for its ability to keep it self going, all it will take is a very few users to one day move on and the site will die almost overnight, while here we learn from each other, we call each other brothers, we align ourselves and values with each other and will eventually bend to a highly understanding person who will function VERY well in the world as everyone sees it, because our motto is understand first and then post; something that is lost countless times here, but it is also something that shines through from time to time and it is something that keeps the people that need to be here, to remain here.

you will get some people who say fuck you, and show age-ism or racism but that is robbed of us as well over time,
the similarities of the two sites is that they rob us of injustices and hurtful thoughts and or of purpose in some aspect of hate, while 4chan also does this, the more primary /b desensitizes people and then turn them into the very monster that will not survive in the real world,
as an example, here a common idea is how can we help, what can we tell you, while on /b its more along the lines of how can i make this person feel like shit or act normal...
the end result is a human mind that is altered to either understand through means, or understand through results..

i prefer the former and so i stay here, or brows the pics on the later,
i prefer the former because: its like a back school room, there is law and order, and there is chivalry here in rare cases, as opposed to a raging and monstrous beast that will stop at nothing, even devouring itself if it feels the want to do so

i'm not sure what you people base this on, /b/ isn't filtered or moderated like NG is; two vastly different forums with vastly different networks behind them. so far display of intelligence goes; i've been more impressed with /b/ in the past (which isn't saying music considering i've been banned from 4chan since 2010) than with whatever circlejerk NG has come up with since 2003.

I visit /v/ /b/ /s/ /x/ and /wg/ quite a bit and 4chan really is better overall. Better humor, smarter people, etc.

4chan is and always has been shit. I can't get around the forum interface and I happen to hate the humor. I don't get how you can get off by calling them smarter either, that's seriously weird.

Newgrounds has one of the best communities that I've ever visited.

That's just like, my opinion man. I've had many fantastic discussions on 4chan, more so than here.
I also frequent Gamefaqs as well, which has a better community than here as well. NG would definitely be third though.

One thing I really dislike is it's primarily white. I hate white websites.

Content wise those, there's more traffic (seriously ng is really boring at night) the humor appeals to me most of the time and it's generally an older demographic. Age wise Ng is a 13-early twenties site primarily.

Like I said though, Clubs and Crews has quality content and discussions.
