Strange problem with blur effect. Mar. 15th, 2012 @ 11:16 AM Reply

Hello,

I would like to upload a picture I did in flash to the portal.
However whenever I publish it in any Image format (.jpeg, png, gif), the blur effect I applied to the movieclip
does not show up.

However if I screen capture the image, I can get the blur effect to show up, is there any way to get the blur effect to remain in place after I publish the file using the flash publish features?

Thanks!

Ok, im not 100% sure what your doing... but if you want to upload a image to the portal you did in flash...

Cant you just Print screen and paste into paint and save it as a .png and submit that if it has your blur effect...

like i said, im not sure how you have applied your blur effect. as exporting the file may remove it.

Use "File > Export > Export Image..." instead of Publish.
