I never said anything about oppression. Don't put word into my mouth.
I will do whatever i can to actively encourage the entertainment industry and the fcc to not cave into feminist pressure.

Not in most countries, including my native Canada, but the US claims to have it embedded in their highest tier of law- the 1st amendment to their Constitution. How fully protected it is, is up for question, from restrictions due to NDAs and 'national security' to 'hate speech' accusations.
It appears the majority of Americans believe the freedom of speech means you are allowed to say anything you want, anywhere you want, at any time, and directed towards anyone. This is simply not true. Now, I am not in any way taking the side of the "feminists", but they do have a valid point (albeit a convoluted one). Defamation of a public figure through intentional emotional harm - especially if the information is outrageous and false - is NOT protected under the first amendment.
And yes, I have a citation: U.S. Supreme Court Case Hustler Magazine v. Falwell
It is unfortunate that it had to be the "crazy feminists" to bring this up; because, any other political "activists" would have been taken more seriously. Of course, if any of this nonsense were to be considered, it would have to stand alone as it's own case and not be based on Hustler v. Falwell, as there are other factors that come into play ... such as the emotional effects of the victim being publicly humiliated (which hasn't been apparent).
In theory, Sandra Fluke could probably win a lawsuit against Limbaugh if her reputation were severely damaged. Again, I think this entire debacle is minuscule compared to what the feminists could be debating.
