Pokemon yellow VBA help 2012-03-13 12:46:06

So, I decided to try to play pokemon yellow on visual boy advanced (for thoose who are not familar with that, it's an emulator that allows you to play roms from gba or gbc.) However, I am new to the VBA, and when i downloaded it, there were no instructions. The pokemon yellow rom seemed to run smoothly on it except for 1 thing, when i save, it doesn't actually save. When i close the VBA. I've tried numerous times to get it to work and have even tried downloading different roms, but it's still the same issue.

Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong? I didn't use any gameshark codes but i have been using the "fast-forward" button on it. Can someone please help?

Did you save using the emulator, or the game?

You have to save within the game.

You wouldn't be having this issue if you bought a physical gameboy.
