Curse Words

When did you learn curse words (for whatever language, mainly English) for the first time?

For me, in Greek, it was probably from my dad since he's one of those manly, foul-mouthed guys. In English, it was in 3rd grade. and I was still just learning the language. One day, one of my friends was insulting another kid and called him a "bitch". I asked him what it meant and he said "something like stupid".

So, that afternoon, or the next day, I was at my house (appartment), and my sister and I were arguing. I ran upstairs and called her a bitch. When my parents showed up, I assume she told them, because they interrogated me about it. Another day when another friend came over, he instructed me on how to utilise the middle finger. I did it horizontally and he said "no dude, you're flipping off God". So then he showed me again and i learned it. I also learned "damn" from Mega Man X4. I pronounced it with the "n" sound, too, until my friend taught me that, too.

What happened to kids these days, Newgrounds? Why is society so messed up these days? Since the past couple decades, swear words are even insults anymore; just a way of either putting emphasis on whatever it is you're saying or sounding like a delinquent. Also, how in the hell do we manage to learn curse words right while we're learning a new language?

so I never really had a defining moment of learning the meaning of curse words, I just sorta already knew them

I wasn't sheltered from dirty language from my parents. Of course, I couldn't repeat what they said, but they could belt it all they want and pretend I was an innocent baby.

3rd grade was when I first started regularly using them.
I had said them before, though. Sometimes accidentally.

I learned most of my swear words in grade primary. Some guy on the bus to school would always swear his mouth off because he thought he was cool.

As soon as I learned to talk tbh.

I remember when I was like 4, I took a shit on the porch. Then I pointed to it and said "Shit" all the time. I never got in trouble because they probably didn't realize that I was saying it.

Then when I came onto the internet, I learned many more.

In hebrew, I heard it from the TV, around 2th grade. In english, I learned it from video games. 4th grade.

When I was five years old, a gay hairdresser put an adult perm in my hair and caused permanent damage to my hair. My mama was extremely angry and called him the F word (yall know what I'm talking about). So we went to another gay hairdresser and he asked me happend to my hair I said, " Dis (f word) puts a grown peoples thang in my head and messed it up." So thats the first curse word I remember saying.

My first whole sentence was "Fuck off mom" cause I didn't want to go to bed. She thought it was funny so I didn't get in trouble for it.

Don't know when I learnt I started using my first curse word, but I guess since I can't remember it must have been early in my life time. What goes for english curse words I can probably assume it was around the time when I started learning it. You know how it is, if you want to learn a language you will want to know a curse word or two.

I hate curse words...
I dont like saying those bad words.
I heard curse words like when I was more or less 5 and my parents immediately told me it is bad.
Although I did curse before without even knowing what I was saying, I immediately stopped it when I did learn the meaning.
So, right now, Im 17 years old and I wont ever curse!
