I was reading this week's edition of the WNT online newsletter (a professional wrestling newsletter), and ran across this little snippit;
-Jeff Hardy has recently been talking with Jim Ross about a
WWE return. However, WWE's major demand is for Jeff to go into
rehab before making a television appearance. At the moment
Jeff Hardy is strongly against going into rehab, feeling that
it isn't necessary.
My question is this; should companies like the WWE be allowed to demand that potential employee's go into drug treatment programs before be hired? (or in this case, being re-hired?)

i suppose it's ok if they're taking steroids, but they have to go into rehab for taking recreational drugs. like WTF?
i think sports companies should be able to do whatever they want to their employees. if i had my druthers, i wouldn't pay millions for a bunch of steroid mutant freaks fake hurting each other. no, they'd be REALLY hurting each other, like the UFC.

Brian Pillman ( a deceased wrestler) had a similar problem, though what was hurting him the most was designer HGH (human growth hormone). I'm not against pro-hormones like andro (AD1 and the like) or herbal mediums like Tribulus, but HGH abuse is a definite killer. There should be mandatory testing for certain drugs, but not all. Those wrestlers don't have killer builds naturally... just look at Scott Steiner in his peak form.

If they so please. I dont think you should hire someone who is an addict. If they WERE an addict, and had treatment, then you should, because that shows tremendous willpower, and courage. My $0.02

Lets have him shoot up infront of all the 8 year olds wearing tee-shirts that say fuck fear drink beer. While we are at it lets have a playboy playmate giving another playboy playmate a lap dance at the same time in the ring. Lets put this on national TV and broadcast it around the world. Oh wait its already being done.
Bellum omnium contra omnes
