My response to both of these.
3.You may be sentenced to jail.
Not likely, if it wasn't me who started it. It's the instigator's own fault if they lose a fight they picked.
Honestly I would be scared If I got hit back harder.
Then here's a clue: Don't get physically violent with someone considerably stronger than you in the first place.
I mean what happened to the days when it all men't "If you hit a girl you aren't a man anymore."
Societal progress happened, that's what.
Seriously, this whole "Don't hit girls" thing was just another way for men to patronise women and brand them as inherently weaker than men. The equality that allows you to earn the same wage as men, vote, and many other freedoms works both ways here. No matter how many labels you give yourself ("Woman / man"; "Black / white"; "Young / old", etc.), you are still no more, or less, of a person than anyone else. As such, you are just as much bound by equal rights as you are entitled to them.
Honestly It's ok if it deals with a girl threatening you, or something to due with the loss of your life or items.
I'm struggling to think of any situation that involves being physically struck, but not "threatened". Hitting someone is a pretty obvious display of threatening intentions, after all. As has been said loads of times already in this thread, gender is of no importance when it comes to stopping someone attempting to injure you, as far as the laws of self-defence are concerned, and rightly so too.
