Using child soldiers is just a sign of a failing army. Germany in WWII started using very young soldiers once their older counterparts, well... ran out. And look what happened to Hitler. Oh, Kony hasn't been seen in six years? Who would have guessed his army was failing?

Not really, child soldier tactic was pretty effective from keep UN troops to shoot at 'em. Rwanda for example. The UN troops just froze in place when saw the kids-with-ak come at them, and let the massacres happened.
Geneva laws have too many loophole. Of course UN itself cannot break its own rules.

Kony hasn't been in Uganda since 2006 and is right now stuck in some hellish Congo jungle starving to death and looking over his shoulder for former child soldiers hunting his head. His LRA is about 200 strong and most of them are only armed with axes and bats.
Cover the Night will cost the taxpayer (of which I am one) thousands to clean up the mess.
KONY 2012 misrepresents the facts and makes the scenario seem more drastic and urgent than it is. Ugandans have reacted in a bemused manner at this video.
Invisible Children pocket 70% of the donations given to them.
Invisible Children financially support the Ugandan Army as well as the Sudan People's Liberation Movement, both of which are well known for numerous human rights violations.
Nodding Disease and other illnesses are affecting more Ugandan children than Kony, but nobody cares or even knows about that. That shows me that KONY 2012 is a fad and a fashion statement forwarded by people who will attack you as "inhumane" if you do not support IC's campaign but don't actually do any of their own research. I don't want to associate myself with those kind of people. Besides, there's a lot more African warlords out there, and those aren't even the least of their problems.

Because Jason Russel did what all of us wanted to do but no one had the courage to do. He pulled off his clothes like Lou Ferrigno and creamed on the sidewalk next to oncoming traffic.
