Now this is just outright generalizing an entire people. What the abuse that does go on comes from is the culture and religious background which puts women lower than men but the same could be said about other cultures in history including the United States. Some places just haven't grown much. Growth can be good and bad.

It's their culture. They simply believe that their belief is superior to anyone else's, and when one offends that ideology or insults their religion, they get extremely butthurt and turn violent.
