He had an unpopular opinion, it was flamed, and I made a short blog post in his support. I didn't even post it on the actual thread, I kept it to my blog. You are really just throwing shit at the wall in hopes something will stick, aren't you?

If you go back and read the thread title like a good little boy then you'll notice it said call of duty vs halo, to which all opinions were welcome, and you flipped your sh*t when you saw something you didn't agree with. It was still his opinion in an opinion thread regardless so if you shouldn't have cared either way even if it was slightly fallacious, let alone all caps loose it.

But a fallacy is a logical inconsistency in reasoning - it does not necessarily mean it is an opinion of sorts: opinions cannot be fallacious unless they attempt to amount towards any sort of justifiable claim. For instance, it could be my opinion that the sky is green but that does not necessarily make any sort of inference to truth or falsity. The statement only appears logically incoherent when you infer that these 'truths' are perspectival. This is because to claim that an opinion is an opinion then infers - it is your opinion that it is true to claim that the aforementioned argument is an opinion.

The other thing was it was in a thread where opinions on call of duty are asked for, he stated why he didn't like call of duty and you couldn't be mature about it. Where in this thread was Halo Reach mentioned, better yet where in this thread was your opinion specifically asked for?

As long as this game isn't anything like Halo Reach and they make the game like Halo 2 (or at least Halo 3), then it's going to be great. Mass Effect doesn't have shit on Halo 4 this year (Halo 4 will be GOTY of 2012).

You criticized Halo Reach indirectly, using it as a sort of bad example. This thread had nothing to do with HR in the first place nor your opinion on it.

This is all fine and dandy, I'll even admit that your post was semi-topical and within' your right, but you don't have a right to demand that people don't express their conflicting views for it.
I initially said "implying anything was wrong with Reach" aka why shouldn't Halo 4 take after Reach. Instead of giving constructive feedback that may have made since you instantly fall apart and go on this tangent on how you were stating your supposed opinion and therefore grants you the right to not be criticized.

So in a way, your 2nd post was more confrontational, but rather than responding with intelligent feedback that might have made since, you deflect Newt Gingrich style and demand why I say such a thing about your post in the first place.
