I already remember seeing a youtube video of a guy talking about using carbon monoxide and an oxygen mask to do it, which was apparently painless, but I don't know.

In all seriousness I don't think that anyone wanting to commit suicide would wait for that kit to ship in order to do so. By that time, they would probably be over their suicidal thoughts a bit. If they really wanted to do it they'd shoot themselves or jump off a bridge or something.

It works on the same principle(starve the body of oxygen), but instead of chemically removing oxygen from the air it replaces it with another gas such as nitrogen that's painless to breathe.
Fun fact:
Nitrogen gas has been considered for gas executions but denied because it's too painless and makes people feel good as they die.
I guess that's a better alternative.
