I swear every time I switch back to this tab someone has said some incomprehensible shit.
I'm a single father and a multimillionaire.

HUEUHEUHUEHEU U BR?
I don't really understand why you think it's trendy but it's nice you think that.
Yes, there are and have been people who are vegan just for the look, that doesn't mean that there aren't people that forgo animal byproducts because they believe the use of animals at the price of their life is inhumane.
I seriously have the hardest time understanding people on this site.
I kinda just put it out there that I couldn't live without meat, but don't hold it against them

I think what shes referring to is that..
Just cuz your a vegetarian doesn't mean you haven't had meat shoved in your mouth.
Lol :c.. i'm sorry for using such dirty words..

Also I'm vegan and it was like the best decision I've made in a long time... Not that anyone cares but I recommend you try it for at least a little if you're curious about it.
There's a lot of substitutes out there for meat and dairy and in my opinion for the most part they taste better.
Also it cleared up my skin like 100% and I've been loosing weight and feeling better overall.
Fuck PETA, don't listen to them.
You know what else is trendy? Great food. Something most vegans know nothing about.(aside from green spaghetti, trail mix, and garlic bread, what do you guys have, seriously? I mean, even pasta is better with a little beef in it.)

Not to be rude, but I've tried tofu, soy milk, etc. and they still can't replace meat. Not by a long shot.
I do occassionally use lactaid free milk when I can get it, but only because lactose strips the body of calcium.(something almost everyone is completely unaware of)
I've met a few people who don't eat meat because they simply don't like the taste. I don't understand it, but hey, different strokes for different folks. As long as nobody gets in my face about their dietary choices, then more power to them. If someone starts acting like a raging douchebag about my eating meat, I would simply eat more meat right in front of them out of spite.
i don't give a shit if a bitch wants to be vegan or not. all that really matters is if her titties are hot. ugly vegan slores always steppin to me like cockhungry wolves. they dont eat meat but they like to suck dick thats fer damn sure. when im with a vegan bitch im like "where'd my dick go?" now she think im bout to eat her hole encho & lada i got a lotta the 'preme & i'm payin nada (seems like product placement but not i'm just fucking awesome) your moma look like a ugly; loser.
Vegans are a part of a long list of people that make up the tumor spreading like wildfire amongst today's society.

Now they don't care if I eat meat or not, they just don't buy it for me, I usually get chicken sandwiches and stuff from a fast food place or something. I only really eat white meat, not so much red, but I do like certain kinds of ribs. I also eat the vegetarian stuff they buy because I'm used to it and it tates fairly good, mostly Morning Star products.
There's no such thing as red and white meat. There's meat and then there's poultry. Meat should only be consumed once every 2 weeks or once a month while poultry should be consumed every other day or once a day

WTF. So now beef is meat but poulty is not meat? Do you even know what meat is? It's the flesh of a dead animal. Pretty sure poultry is meat, buddy.

I think it was a cock sucking joke.
As for the topic at hand, it's not trendy it's just common sense. People who aren't necessarily concerned about animal rights issues are becoming more aware of the health benefits of a vegan diet, as well as the environmental and societal benefits.
It's progress.
being vegan is stupid it provides no benefit whever though
if it is a gigantic horrible typo mah bad

Get the poor kid a sirloin asap!
being a vegan is a statement against corporations who make millions of dollars off slaughtering animals and cutting through huge sections of rainforest. if you're a vegetarian just because you don't like meat than more power to you, but that's not what being a vegan is about.
vegan militants and animal rights groups aren't some joke. they are some of the most active protest groups today.
Honestly, vegetables are harvested and slaughtered just as inhumanely as animals, so any argument regarding slaughter and destruction for the purpose of food are invalid.
Although I personally want to reduce almost all the meat (NOT including male genitalia and the leik) in my diet, but not all the fucking way to zero
Think of it like this: If you were stuck in the wilderness, would you rather get a filling meal of a slain beast leik a bawzz or would you rather pick your food like a girl?
Id rather be able to do both than only one.
Now dont get me wrong, Being vegan is actually very healthy; Ive been to several vegan restaurants and Ive actually felt energized after eating nothing but veggies, however I have to agree that vegans can be quite picky and elitist at times.
I also hate it when vegans try to "convert" me into veganism.
Its not a damn religion its a choice of lifestyle ppls.
I am ABSOLUTELY against animal cruelty, but I enjoy having a burger here and there onse in a wile :P

I'm a vegetarian because I can choose to be a vegetarian, obviously if I was stuck in the wilderness I'd do what I have to do to survive.
Don't try and make out you're Conan the Barbarian because you get some guy in a shed to put a bolt through a cows head for you.
Yeah, and I'm one of those hipsters on Starbucks with a Mac. I am proud of myself.

netjester?
A lot of fighters are vegetarian/vegan.
The concept that eating meat is manly is from the time when men were hunting their meat.
PS: I eat meat.
My favorite kind of food is the kind that used to have a face. steak, tuna steak, octopus, eel, burgers, pork chops, etc.
It depends on the reasons for becoming vegan.
Also, calling things "trendy" is the new trend.

not quite true. Have you ever had those Morning Star mushroom burgers? They taste nothing like burgers, but they're still great with asiago cheese and Old Cape Cod soy ginger sauce. I don't eat them on buns, though. I just eat them with a fork. Of course I'd rather have a regular beef burger, but it's still really good.
