This is what inspired me to play saxaphone, and I am still playing after 3 years.
Really want to do this during some lecture in school. Would be very satisfying. Should I do it?
Also, do any of you play an instrument?

I loved playing my bass before I sold it. It really kept my attention and focused me, but I never had a bass amp (just a regular amp), so I could never really tell if I was playing the song right.

I play, like 10 different instruments. In any case, yes you should take a school lecture. It's free and more effective than getting lessons or doing it in your free time.

Also clarinets suck balls, that is all.

I play the guitar (10 years), bass (4 years), piano (2 years), drums (1 year) and I can kind of play: Singing bowl, kazoo, harmonica, ukelele, banjo, mandolin, and upright bass. I have less than a year of experience with all of these, but can still play them decently thanks to the knowledge I've gathered.

If it's counted I've also been dicking around with FL Studio for 6 years.

I decided to pick up playing the piano when I was 17. My brother had been taking lessons, but he moved out and left the piano behind and I just took it upon myself to play it. I took professional lessons for about 2 years when I was 18 but haven't had the time. Sometimes I'll pick up and play again, but I don't think I'll be as good as I want to be.

Well goddamn, he was my inspiration, too. Him and Sungha Jung, that is, who's basically just a miniature version of Jake.

But yeah, I have a problem getting particularly dedicated to playing instruments and have tried a few. Right now I own a ukulele and an acoustic guitar, though the ukulele was a bit of an impulse buy after seeing the aforementioned people's videos and I don't play it very well. I'm okay at the guitar I guess, though I play it like a douchebag because I just know a few chords and play them in strum patterns that sound good. I tell myself my problem with it is my hands are too small, I can barely reach the C chord, but i'm probably just not very good.

I'll be borrowing a violin from a friend of mine before real long, I hope to do better with that.
