Ok my parts done. Though im not happy with the sound effects for his footsteps at the end when he charges. If anyone has any better ones let me know. As well i will remove the music for the collab.

Sorry for taking so long, I kinda slowed down when I got past the initial animation as I'm trying to pay more attention to some other projects...no offense lol.

Anyway, I don't think we should really post an update here every 2 weeks or whatever because some people are probably lurking on this thread and will end up just seeing the entire collab by the time it's finished, you know what I mean? Maybe we should only show the updates to our partner and EastBeast since he's the leader.

On another note you may notice that the background is showing white a little bit, this is from some weird glitch in my v-cam. For some reason, even though it's focusing on a spot that shows no white, when it's exported it's moved over to the left a little. I don't know what's going on, has anyone ever had this problem before with their V-cam?

That's a good point about the updates, I know what you mean. I remember there was an incident where some lurker flash compiled all the parts of a particular collaboration, then releasing it as their own, stealing everyone's work. General updates without posting links are always good though, just to let us know that you are working. Pm's work great too. I understand that everyone gets busy this time of year so no worries. :)

I've had that trouble too and I can't remember how I fixed it exactly... V-cams are always tricky, I'd advise working without them if possible. Just stick your animation+ background in a movie clip and tween it down the stage to see if that will work. I hope that isn't too limiting, but when we compile the flash V-cams make for a lot of problems unless they are all the same.

But it is up to you if you want a v-cam, if you feel like it is really necessary. What does anyone else think about v-cams? Let me know who thinks it is a good or bad idea

It's all good guys, I started school as well. I've been wanting to send out pms to everyone, just to check up how things are progressing with partners, ect. Hopefully I'll do that soon. Just work on stuff little by little. Congrats to you and your partner for being almost done. :)

The collab deadline isn't definite yet, and we would probably extend it to Novemeber, due to Holloween rush and school for everyone. I liked your part. Is there anyway Novemeber would work for you? How's your partner doing?

k, the pace seems rather slow so if u guys arent in any rush theres chances i get some spare time but we r talking long term

Sounds like we found the new collab manager :> Haha I was thinking that we could use a nice menu/ credits set up, and I'm not the greatest with coding. I know you have the art chops for that brosky ;)

Everything is pretty slow paced at this point so we'll see what happens.

I haven't heard back from him either. Try messaging him again, maybe through email and if he doesn't reply by this time next week we can update you with a new partner. I kind of understand because this time is a busy time of year, so I'd like to give him a few chances just before removing him entirely.

I finally got settled with my laptop and I've bought the new Adobe pack.
This means I can finally start animating again!
I want to thank Eastbeast and LazyAss for taking over in the time I wasn't able to animate or contact with all of you.
I am very curious about what you guys created!
Maybe a lot of you are busy working for school or other things. Please let me know if there is still a place in your heart for this collab! It would be ashamed if all the work was for nothing....

Glad to have you back, Zovies. I'm proud to put the reigns back in his hands for the collab. There have been samples of peoples work so far in the thread. No finished parts yet, but I believe Dangoval95 and Mihap are close to finishing, along with myself and lazyass23
