Good question. The idea is just a fight until the battle is done, no limits, but just make it a reasonable length, so each person has 3 - 5 turns each.

The diagram goes like this: One person attacks- the other dodges and counter attacks- that person dodges and counters an attack- (This goes on for a reasonable amount of time, as long as it is interesting) until, finally the last blow is made and someone is defeated. You are welcome to introduce the characters in interesting ways too

In other news, BATTLE SLOTS ARE FULL! With the exception of one more member who I am finding a partner for there will be no more entrants, and the collab is closed for newcomers. Here is the final list:

Yeah you know I will :) I'm reworking a few of my parts, but don't worry, they'll match up

I think we can worry about menu stuff further down the road, but I've got a few ideas. Heavyrain had sort of a scene select thing going on we can integrate when it's there. :)

You are going to have to wait more than a day or two for your partner to reply. Like I said, don't spam the thread.

So in about 2 weeks from today, we are going to have a part update, to see how everyone's stuff it coming along, just what you have so far; does not have to be complete, just as much as you've gotten done. lets just shoot for the deadline of August 30th!

Btw I heard from Zovies, he's glad that the thread is moving along, and hopefully will have a new computer soon to participate in the battles, we'll figure that stuff out when it happens, for now everybody just keep on working/battling! :)
