WHAT IS THE ANIMATION BATTLE?
The Animation Battle is a collab with a lot of creative animators. If you have a creative brain and you like animating, join!
The idea of this battle is that you get one opponent and you will fight against him.
You draw a character you like to use for your battle. Your opponent does the same thing.
You both try to kill the character of you opponent without animating it. You only animate the part where you attack. After you animated your attack your opponent needs to know what you did so he can defend his character. You two would need to share your .fla file a lot or you two would need to come up with a short storyboard.

(don't mind telling me about my bad English. I am not English and this is just an example).

SPECS
The stage will be 600x400 px
Background should stay white unless you and your opponent would like to draw backgrounds in your battle.
The whole battle must be between 30 and 60 seconds
Use 20 frames per second

RULES
- Sounds that will make the battle more "awesome" are allowed. (punch sounds and explosion sounds etc.)
- Music will be done by me or an audio artist. I prefer a soft Lobby/Elevator background music.
- No stick figures as main character!

THE AMOUNT OF ANIMATORS
I want an odd number of animators so I can have one opponent too. I would like more than 6 animators.
If this collab is no success it will be less... :P

WHAT WE NEED NEXT TO ANIMATORS!
An audio artist who would like to make a lobby/elevator background music for the collab.
If I don't find one, I will make it.

This seems like a great idea, it may be a bit complex, but if people can break it down and organize well there is a chance for this fun project

Alright, I'll try this out if you let me. I feel like I need some practice lately anyway.

Though how will this work? Do we now discuss who partners with who (I suggest assigning numbers to us then using a random number generator to make opponents), and is there a deadline?

This collab could turn out really well if done properly, I love these kinds of collabs.

I'll make a list of the people who will join. and give you numbers.
If someone has a preference for a certain animator, you need to tell
that on this topic so I will put those together.
Those with no opponent will be randomly coupled with another.

Can I see some of your work? Animated work? That would be great so
your opponent knows what you can do.

Ey guys, I coudl actually made somethign for this. I find this interesting.

I don't like a lot of stuff actually, you could have this or this for example but it's not verry impressive, i could make better thing i guess.

Most of the example animations are not very good and a little low on the quality.

I also created a character. A kid with a sword and a cape :)
CHANGING YOUR CHARACTER IS NO PROBLEM! BUT AS SOON AS THE BATTLE STARTS YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH YOUR CHARACTER FOR THE REST OF THE COLLAB! SO CHOOSE WISELY!!

A bit blurry, but I'm thinking of doing a madness themed character.
I think it'll add a bit more "firepower" to the battle.
