Seriously. I'm not a huge racing fan, but really, A huge crash on lap 2, then Montoya crashes into a jet truck setting off a fire, Brad K. getting over a 100,000 twitter followers during the red flag, and 100 miles (40 laps) left to race. Might be all left turns but nevertheless, should be exciting.

I don't know how they do it, but NASCAR somehow managed to make even that boring.

They said both the truck driver and Montoya are fine. They're supposed to restart in the next 10 mins.

Nascar has to be, hands down, THE most boring "sport" ever conceived.

My father watches it all the time, thus I'm often "forced" to watch it and I'm convinced they could make just about anything boring.

Not to mention the guys doing the commentary are always full of filler talk. They have like a few minutes of material and they somehow make it last for hours.

Anything with an 8ft fireball is exciting. Now it's a 40 lap shootout.

Its weird it looks like they are going 40 -50 mph, but the top shows them at 200.

It's all perspective. Daytona's track is huge, 2.5 miles long, and you are viewing it from some distance so it seems slower.
