I don't see why you have to commit to using this website like that. It's not your wife. There's nothing forcing you to stay here forever or leave here forever. If you feel like coming back and voting on a daily basis to get your experience, then do it. If not, don't. It's all about moderation.

But yeah, take a break or something, and think it through. Don't do anything rash and regret it later on or whatever.
There's much more to do on NG than simply browsing the BBS and getting your 5 votes in every day.
You can:
1) Write reviews and give artists critical evaluations of their work, thereby helping them improve in the future
2) Create your own content - even if you don't have Flash or Audio-creating software, you can always use the Writing Forum and hone your writing skills. Or work on your Artistic skills and submit something for the Art Portal.
3) You can watch/play the hundreds of games/movies that have graced the front page over the years at http://www.newgrounds.com/fpa/.
4) You can help people make their sigs and user avatars in the C&C Forum.

I used to make sure I would vote 5 times a day with the old icons, but now the new ones are kind of ugly, so I don't vote that much anymore. I did just notice i need 10 more points to get to lvl 8 though ; )
