Okay, so I've taken a photo for all 40 emoticons now.
Question is, if spags wants them, whether to have the photo's just as themselves, or to shop them over the face of the actual collab pieces.

IT'S SO CUTE!!! OH MY GOODNESS! I like it a lot.

I'll probably figure out how to include it as some sort of easter egg or an alternate menu. That being said, I'd prefer it if you actually do all the cutting/placing as the entries come in.

cut them all out, save 1 file with shoppable size, and 1 the same size as the emoticons themselves.
A rather disgusting-looking git that should have been disposed of ages ago.

I like this idea, it could be like a bonus feature or something :).
Anyway here is my WIP, I still need to do some more colouring in (like a big kid) and work on the text, just general stuff. Also I'm uploading this from my phone so I don't know how the quality is going to be. If it's really bad then I'll upload it again when I can get to a computer, probably tomorrow.

Yeah, I'll just shop the faces on as you accept the finished products.
Just gotta take care of that now then with what's done.

But won't that almost double the size of the flash?
It would be better if you put all the faces on a masked layer and then just unmask them with some button or key.
It has been brought to my attention that the face shopping is not funny, but is instead proof that I am an egomaniac.
Hence forth, there appears to be no need to bother with it any more.
Done alittle more still needs some more shading although any advice would be nice :) so here's another WIP. Please don't give up my place Spag :).

I hate to be that guy, but you need to work on this - the linework is kinda boring, the colours are flat, and the background pattern is ugly. Also, I don't really see how it relates to the emoticon. If you don't have something more relevant/ironed out by 11:59PM EST Friday April 20th, I'm afraid I will have to give up your spot.

The detail is crazy! I love the composition, the colour, the intense-ness of it all!

I'm sorry, Blackmist, but I just don't think that your WIPs are indicative of anything sufficient enough for the collab, and are irrelevant to the face you chose. Thanks for participating though! Though you are making a robot, it seems to be a humanoid robot, so for next time, I'd suggest looking at examples of anatomy, getting more of a hang of that, and basing your robot-y designs around more proper anatomical structures. This is a good site I use for practice.
Still waiting to see any updates from monsterparty, ImpendingRiot, CloudEater, ZombieMonkey, QQBistro, Larkatosa, DEADxLORD, TheDragonBoy, Knocturne, Asperchu, Kinsei01, MasterMerol, Luwano, or M-Vero - I'll be sending you guys another PM momentarily.

Right, ok. Well I can understand your comments on the background and the flat colours but you don't see how it relates to the emoticon? it's face is pulling the emoticon face that I picked?! I can add shade (as i stated still needed to be done) and change the background/ work on the drawing in general but if you think that I'm starting again you are sadly mistaken. I just don't get why this doesn't relate?! I understood for my first attempt but this one fits in my opinion.

It's mainly in the eyes. The cross-eyes throws one of rather a lot. When I first saw it, it looked as if you were going for the slightly mentally challenged one (37).
Don't get so offended tho, Spags just wants this collab to be really good :)

I did think that the eyes were a little wrong myself, i'll straighten them out when I get home (at college at the moment).

I do understand, if I was in his position I'd obviously want the best and I'm aware that my artwork is nothing compared to some of the pieces that have got in so far and maybe I over reacted. I'm just under quite a bit of stress at the current time, I apologise. But I still stick to the fact that I'm not starting it again. I'll try and get as much done as I can by tomorrow and show that it still can be a good piece that is worthy of this collab.

Holy fucking shit, how the when did you even like how did you even get to this level of artistic goodness?!!?!?
Right then, lets try this again, just had about an hour on the thing, some more problems have arisen and now it needs to be neatened up but I changed the background and got rid of the text which shall be added again. I added some filters to the rabbit and desk to give it a less flat fell. They haven't 100% worked but i'll have a play around with it later and I'm sure I can make it better :) (i like playing with rabbits). Please don't bite my head off for producing this quite yet as I'll post an improved one tomorrow. Please give me some advice for now though. (higher quality)
I'm aware the lines currently look shit, I'm just going to go over the lines again.

scratch that, the filters look terrible. I'll try again.
Firstly sorry for the amount of posts.
Improvement...............Behold (better version) just needs a little neatening up now.

Why a rabbit? and why are you trying to make it into a joke? it's an art collab.
It looks like something a design student would do with the very rigid unfree lines and regular shapes and then the flat colours that you've tried to make look better with unsubtle textures. Like it's obvious you were using a drawing software and not using a free moving tool which makes your drawing look very unnatural. Also your colour choices aren't very harmonic.
Also your drawing doesn't seem to properly reflect your emoticon. You've got the face going all like "oh god, what the fuck, what did I just see" ..while to me that emoticon is actually more of a "is this guy serious?" sorta face.
