Well, hi.It's been a long time since I've been here last time. I thought I'll go do a little memeory trip to some of my old movies, and to my suprise, I saw a brand new, polished Newgrounds. I was really happy. Seeing that the API including medals were free to any developer warmed my heart. I didn't liked the previous one that much, for some reason. But this one, I hope, is still WIP, 'cause though it's better, in it's current stage, not by a whole lot.
I'm here to talk about what I *didn't* like, for the staff to fix. If you think I hate the new design, well, I'm not. I think everything is shiny and bright as a flash portal should be, and I also found stuff to be a lot easier to get to, as well as the new levels and auras are pretty cool.
1. The project system.
I can guess it's an idea ment for collabarators, making it a lot easier to control, preview to members and even API (which as I said, did a great job with). However, I was wonder around it for quite a while until I understood how it worked. It's pretty confusing, though I can right now assume you're going to spam me with replay that it's not, but pay attention that we're all different, and what you find easy, I don't and vice versa.
One thing I didn't like, is a delete button. I made 2 "test" projects to see how everything works, and I STILL can't find a delete button. I heard the staff will add it soon, but still.
2. Ratings
One thing I liked about the old design is that you could easily see who beat who in scores of numbers. Reason being is that images look the same, even if it's only a 0.1 difference. The new design punched me in the face with this and told me: "Get over it". In P-bot's corner I needed to go in each flash seeing it's score, because I couldn't tell the difference. Sometimes a 4.5 in the image was actually 4.3, and this is quite a difference. I know I can put my mouse on it to see the score, but please put some text.
3. Loading times
(Yet) another thing I liked 'bout the old design is that although it was heavy and filled with animations and images and amazing CSS, It loaded up pretty quick. Heck, I could even write BBS entires with my iPhone. Now, It's harder. Even on my 10mb internet which took only about 5-10 seconds to load out pre-2012 design, now it takes double or even triple that time today, and I don't wanna talk on that time on my iPhone.
So, here are 3 things I didn't like on the old design. Though the design is pretty darn cool and the levels and auras as well the bugs in it are still present, and I hope the staff will fix it.

I think this would be better suited for a news post. Especially considering there's already been about a hundred of these.

After reading that I'm still trying to figure out what your options are.

Well, blame my formulation. I ment doing a little rant here, but I actually kinda like this new layout, so I called it option since I didn't knew how to call it.
Bottom line, the design is very nice, the project system was a great idea though the actual preformence of it was kinda meh, I really like that they released the API (including medals and new graphics), yet still, bugs.

You mean a new-release design is buggy?
THAT'S ABSURD!
Give it time.
