In a week time, I get my final payment from my part time work, i get £1000 then i leave my job and search for another..

But does anyone know what good camcorder i should get at £1000 - £1250?

Are you looking for a camera that records to tape or SD card?

Is this going to be for consumer, 'pro-sumer', or professional use?

Do you need a tripod or do you already have one?

What are you going to be using it for?

What sort of audio equipment do you use and what type of connectors do they have, if any?
