Hey, I don't think that I have been approved yet (since my music doesn't come up when I try to search for it), but how does my music have 3 downloads if I haven't downloaded it? Does that mean it's been approved but I just don't know it? And when you are approved do you get some kind of notice stating such?

I can see it in my own profile, but from what I understand my account has not been approved for the audio portal yet. That's why I am trying to figure out if I was approved or something because it has 3 downloads, but the music doesn't show up in the audio portal, and I haven't linked anyone.

I can listen to it just fine, so you're probably approved.

Songs are visible publicly the moment you submit them now, approved or not.
And no, you were not approved... However since I was inclined to check anyways... I've approved you. Your songs should now appear in the Audio Portal itself, and not just on your profile.

You don't need to link anyone for them to be able to see your songs. All they have to do is see your profile.
Also, whether you show up in the audio portal itself or not will have next to no effect on your score or reviews.
Use the Audio Advertisements thread or the Review Request Club. Posting links to your songs in those thread will net you reviews and exposure with more effect.
