I prefer the moderately low traffic. I'd hate to have to deal with 4chan-like posting by three hundred people at one time. The topics would expand too fast, no one would read anything, and we'd have too many idiots to deal with.

i was never 1 for the forums but. The site is slowing down. But at the same time it isnt. The flash system used 2 b more community oriented. 4 instance almost every flash always had at least a page of reviews. and me personaly, ive spent months and months working on projects at a time only 2 have them with 3 reviews. its rdiculus. really. no 1 rly cares about anyone anymore. im being honest. just honest...

The BBS won't die. The Audio Forum, Art Forum, and Clubs & Crews Forum get much traffic. Also the Politics Forum does indeed have it's fair share of political topics. I say we need to wipe General and the Video Game Forums and start from scratch. Also put Video Games back in General, it hasn't been helping anybody by separating the two.

The redesign seemed to have lured some more people to the BBS, although it looks like that effect was only short-lived. 2006 was definitely when the BBS had its peak in activity, although you can argue whether the forums were better back then. In all honesty, I think the forums are in a better shape right now as they were back then.

Now, now, pucker up. Things are quite alright. There's no one in the BBS? Go visit the audio portal. Write up some reviews. There are some very interesting grottos on Newgrounds. If you're lucky, you may just stumble upon one of them. There's much to do here. Don't worry.

Yeah I tried talking about flash movies here on Newgrounds before. The General forum doesn't give a shit about Newgrounds flash movies.

The percentage of regulars among the users seems to have gone up, though. Half of the people that are online now have been on here longer than me, and I know quite a lot of them.

I wouldn't know, I just got here,
but what I will say is I got here because sites like Youtube, and 4chan are so immpersonal and crouded, I like the fact that submissions have to be rated, and passed in, I like the fact that you have to leave review, not just stupid comments, and these are the first forums I ran into in a while that acually seem pretty decent.
but that's just me...
