Whenever i pour myself a glass of soda, i do so because i like the taste of it.
If i'm thirsty i'll drink water or lemonade.
But once i start drinking i just gulp the whole glass in about 5 seconds and then i'm bummed because i don't have any left.
You could say that the purpose of my soda-drinking is to enjoy it, but i don't really enjoy it. Only for 5 seconds.
This is really annoying. For example, when i'm going to watch a movie and i pour myself a nice glass of coke to drink while watching it the glass will be empty before the movie even starts and then there's is nothing left to enjoy while watching.
Except if i also got myself some snacks, but those will also be gone pretty soon as i will eat everything at once.
Is there a way to prolong my enjoyment? If i tell myself to take a little zip every once in a while instead of gulping the whole glass, will i enjoy it more or is there an equal amount of enjoyment, but just with more breaks in between?
Do you drink everything at once if you have a glass of soda or do you take a zip every once in a while?
