Yeah, I coulda put that in the battle but I don't friggin need it. I'm about to throw a wet kitten in this fag's face.

Lol if mommy and daddy paid for my college too I wouldn't have had to work. Gosh, I'm such a loser for furthering my education.

On a food service note, most companies use a charbroiler now for burgers and a... wait for it... FRIER for fries. Crazy huh? No flipping of anything other than the disses you recycled off Madflex last year and probably every other rapper you google because you're an unoriginal bitch.

Smack my lips, you're gonna be a tasty pussy to eat.

Verse Deadline:
Monday, April 30 at 11:59:59 p.m. EDT

Writing Guide:
Try to focus your verse on how awesome Clabtrap emcees are/us as a team.

Also, it's CLABTRAP. NOT Clap trap, not clab track, not clap track. It is CLAB TRAP.

Official Verse Rules (If you ignore these, your verse will not be included):
No dissing other emcees in the competition.
Each emcee gets exactly eight bars.
Vocals need to be ONLY your voice, no beat.
Only do doubling if you absolutely sound like shit without it. If you must
send me doubled vocals, then put it on one track. There are going to be
enough tracks as it is without having multiple for one emcee.
Tell me whether or not you used compression/EQ on your voice,
and do NOT add reverb. I'll add reverb to the proper amount
that suits the song, we don't want one person sounding like
they're spitting in a huge concert hall and another sounding
like they're in a bathroom.
I'll take care of the compression if you want me to. I may need
to EQ slightly regardless of if you used it (EQ) or not in order to
make it fit properly in the song. Don't worry, you can absolutely
trust me with your vocals. I won't make you sound like shit.
This is basic, but please don't clip. I'd much rather have vocals that
are too low than too loud.

Send me your vocals by themselves, or on the proper placement on the track (with silence beforehand).
I don't have a problem with matching them up with the beat, and I may have to
do it anyway if someone ends up dropping out. It's your call on this one.

PM your vocals to me in wav format.
MediaFire and Dropbox are the best links for sending vocals (in that order).

Bonus! Song Introduction:
If you want, you can record an intro. I'll choose the most appopriate
one to put in the actual song. If nobody submits one or they all suck,
then I will literally record myself taking a shit and use that.

Let's get going. Remember to PM me your verse. I will not accept it as a reply on here. Let me know if you have any questions.

^^Fucking bullshit newgrounds doesn't let you preview your posts and the rules look like one wall of text. I don't want to post it all again (and it won't let you edit) so I guess you'll have to deal with it. ALL of it is important though, so please read if you're in this thing and actually want your verse to be included.

I don't like the beat either. I think this could use a lot of work with AKACCMIOF's review in mind.

If this is meant to just sound like a thrown together lil basic collabo then it doesn't matter. If y'all want a quality product, we're going to have to change the beat.

However, I said I'd do it and I've got some ideas in mind. I'll start writing tonight.

Given i have a choice in the matter i will always choose quality. Bad beat is a bad start when there's zero restrictions.
That said i dont want to be a NEGATIVE NANCY, so here's some beats i've made that i think could work well for a big collab once extended...

Oh and then there's this beat...
http://googumproduce.com/uploadcrap/the%20look%20of%20love.w av
...which i've already used to make a song much sexier than Milton can ever hope to make, but i somehow could also see being a grimy collab track... the sparsely used upper frequencies make it super easy for any vocal style to sit in.

I hear you, and I am all for making this shit as dope as possible.

I was kind of worried about using that beat also, but Byron said SJD was gonna modify this to better suit our project so if that happens and it sounds good then I'll roll with it.

I mean, it's a good beat I guess, but I'm not sure if it fits with this project. I was totally for Kill Bill's suggestion of a Wu-Tangish style beat, but I'll go with what y'all want- just putting my opinion out there.

Now you're just trolling. The beat we have is GOD compared to those.

Anytime in the last three days would have been good for recommending another beat. Nobody said a thing when we were asking if anyone had suggestions and talking about using it (except SJD himself and that a different one might work better, but none were offered), only now when it's actually the beat being used.

Anyway, a deadline is a deadline, so that's the beat, and that's not the final way it's going to sound, but it's enough to get the tempo and general feel down (so enough to write).

So much hate and negativity geared towards the truly talented.

First of all, I made Screw You Guys in 10 minutes cuz I was tired of everybody talking shit and doing nothing...that's why it's called Screw You Guys, and it's STILL better than 2 out of the 3 beats the pig showed. The only good one was clockwork, and that was only the bass synth. Those upper synths were obvious presets with no melody, they sounded flat, and I think the preset EQ you chose was fucking named Annoy the Listener.

And Gas, don't even get me started on beats with you. You can't even PICK a good one, let alone make one. Your shit sucks across the board.

Thank you. I'm glad at least you recognized what I was trying to do...light a fire under everybody's ass. So tired of "rappers" doing absolutely nothing, just spittin a couple bars then calling themselves rappers. If ppl aren't ready to like actually step up when the time is right, then ur not hip hop AT ALL.

That being said, everybody is pretty meh on the beat, even Teq, who is not an SJD troll. So we gotta change it. I'll see what I can do FOR REAL this time, but I'm in the middle of writing my last mixtape song, and I gotta take care of my grandma this weekend, so if it's on me, getting a good beat won't be til Monday.

I say hit up AxTekk. He wanted to do it and he already made one that was inspired by Clabtrap.

To be totally honest, I'm okay with the beat. I mean, sure maybe it's not the greatest we could have, but it's alright. I tried to write/record my bars last night but I was waay too drunk and they sounded like shit. Clipping all over the place. I'm gonna start again today.

If for some reason we do switch the beat then fuck it, I'll just do them again!

Naa dude, ur the 4th person to just be like "meh."

If that's the case, then we don't use it. I'm officially taking it off. I won't have mediocre work out there.

Get that? IT'S OFFICIAL. THIS BEAT IS NOT TO BE USED FOR THIS COLLAB. LET'S GET ANOTHER ONE.

Hahahahaha, so I'm doing this shit? If that's public consensus, I'm down with that. Only thing is that I'll only be able to have it up on Monday. Same for verse. If we want to get cooking with gas aight now, I say record to SJD's beat and I'll make a beat with an identical tempo. Or something.

If you guys want an Ax beat, I'm down with that and I'm flexible.

Tanishi's pretty hawt. The horns and drums in Clockwork pretty good, but it kinda falls apart. I think you do your best kinda shit when you keep it down to the simple swag kinda rhythm.

Take everything you've ever done in life, reverse it, then commit that to a drumset.

Seriously, I wouldn't be addressing the pig at all if it weren't to say that Tanisha sucks balls. The other one has potential if he gets rid of those awful high synths.

Never seen "offended" used to describe when someone doesn't at all seem offended, but I'll roll with it.

I have written most of mine, so as long as it works with the new beat (aka same tempo) then that's cool. If not then it's no big deal, I'll just let you guys do your own thing.

Yeah I never knew until yesterday that the SJD beat was what we were actualy rolling with. I was always under the impression that Ax was making something for this.

I saw that SJD beat up here a few days ago, but I had no clue it was made expressly for this collab, even after Byron asked for the individual parts. Maybe I should have known, but I didn't.

Anyway there's nothing "wrong" with the beat. It's a good beat, it's just a completely different vibe than what I thought we'd be using. I was thinking "cyphercyphercypher" this whole time, and was under the impression the beat would be a gritty, good tempo, street-style beat with not too many highs in it.

I mean, right after Kill Bill gave his description of what the beat should sound like, about 5 people chimed in agreeing with him, so I figured Ax was going to run with it and make something that fit that dscription.

Anyway, it's whatever, I'll roll with what the majority wants. I'll spit raps over the audio of a woman giving birth, sheeeeit.
