Gotcha.

If you PM me with RSVP information rather than post here that would be best (if you're already in, don't worry about it).

Oh wait...AxTekk was already submitting! Fuck my life.

I really like the tempo on that, and I can definitely see it working for this. Would you happen to have all the individual parts to send me? I can get this shit sounding pretty damn professional with that kind of mixing control.

So, since people are taking exception to my line about the bronx, let me ask: who's the last major dope rapper to come from the Bronx?

Byron: If folks wanna rock it, I can give you the pieces as broken up as you need. I got every track cuz I just made the shit literally like 15 minutes ago. But I wanna see what the Bulldog comes up with tho.

Wyze: Them New York politics is no joke. I would say Maino but I don't know how yall NY folk see him.

I think it's the principle that the Bronx is the birthplace of Hip Hop, and NYC still produces some of the dopest rappers around. You bashing the Bronx for not having any recent famous rap artists holds absolutely no weight in a rap battle.

It's a 40 square mile mass of land that basically invented the musical style you are using to bash it, and that's the reason people may not be feeling what you said.

That said, it was a still a good battle, and good luck to you.

I really don't like maino very much. I think the answer to that would be Cory Gunz, what with his signing to Young Money (Only to be put on the backburner, when he is definitely a head liner in comparison with 90% of those clowns, SMH)

Wayne and Baby always make their artists tone it down if they're running with a top biller, he's a backburner cat. Anything you hear from him on a Young Money collective song is going to be borderline bad because he's supposed to be there to take up space and meet a status quo.
Same shit happened to Curren$y, hence why he makes better music now that he left Cash Money and is independent. FUCK that labelhead, that's the definition of lack of creative control when you tell someone to not go hard on a track.

Curren$y has like 5 mixtapes that I had download and put on CDs back when I sold CDs around here. Almost every single song on them was just terrible.

Also, is that why I'm starting to think Wayne sounds good? Did Gunz suck that bad on that song?

Tupac lived in the Bronx in 1971. Beyond that... Idk.... I can't say Fat Joe's too dope....

Curren$y isn't amazing or anything, I enjoyed Verde Terrace, though. Good riding music. Nice to smoke a blunt to, not much more than that. Before it was just awful.

And Gunz wasn't THAT bad on the song, but if you listen to any of his solo work you'd understand why I would say that. As a lyricist he's pretty damn good, IMO.
