Dear BSRS,
Throwing nothing but haymakers is actually a really poor fighting style that would get someone fucked up by someone who knows how to properly jab.
PS. I'm not being metaphorical or dissing you, you were good... that line just bugged me.

I was thinking about the same thing. Leaves you open to so much shit. But I don't like posting on my own battles other than to occasionally say "good battle" or something like that.

Going first can be pretty damn infuriating when the last verse is full of easy flips... im talking about you teqneek.

Well, considering 75% of my second verse were flips. Ya, you're right.

We should do a clabtrap collab, with all the emcees that were in the competition (and still hanging around here). A few bars each. We just have to get someone who actually knows what they're doing to mix it. I'd offer, but I don't want to deal with all that many vocal tracks.
Actually fuck it, I'll do it anyway.

Let's do that.

Someone hook up a beat so we can do this shiznizzle

I want in
I'm totally down. I'll also find a nice ass beat for this if you guys want. Once we get a definitive list of everyone on board, I'll extend the beat accordingly to fit us all.
Also, do you guys want to use a cypher-style instrumental or what? Let me know what style beat you guys would think is best for this and I'll conjure up some dopeness.
That is unless one of these producers has a good beat that would compliment this project.
BTW, if there are over 8 rappers signed up, then 4 bars each would be best. 2 bars each would just be wack, unless we had like 20 rappers on it, and even then I'd still say to do 4 each and just make a big ass track.

I'm in. Am I aloud to diss Byron in this?

Somethin like that Shibumi beat on the Scuare/E battle. My vote is for hype/classical/upper mid tempo
And PS I kinna liked that Firefox beat in the Pig/Suddle battle. That would bring out a lotta good humor lyrics. I got this one I wanna throw on somethin...peep...
"You go ashes to ashes, and dust to dust/I go ass to ass, and fuck to fuck"
LMAO

Gotta agree with this. I reckon 8 bars then just make the track nice 'n' long.
Like one o' them Wu Tang ciphers.

I CALL FIRST!
I'm definitely down to do 8 bars a piece, but if a ton of rappers sign up, this shit is gonna get loooong. Also, I reeeeally don't want to spit on a trap beat, but it's whatever.
We need a concept. Are we going to be rapping about a topic, are we dissing people, or are we just gonna talk about how awesome we are?
Okay so, since Byron is mixing this, everyone who wants to take part should PM Byron to reserve their spot. I'd say we give 48 hours for everyone to sign up, then after that, Byron releases the list of rappers.
I'd say the order in which the emcees spit should be dictated by who contacts Byron first.
And somebody make a dope ass beat, or I'll find one.

No one ever wants to do a song about anything except how cool they are.
I say this should be a BigRed hate song.
Just read the Senator's review.
Made my day.
We'll see who's ideas about how battle rap works prevails.

What the fuck is a 'trap beat'?

See PiG vs. Suddle. That kind of beat.
By the way nogin, I appreciate the comment on the RJA pisstake. Was waiting for someone to acknowlege it
Diggity down. If y'all like I could write a beat (if i write the right kinda shizzle) tailor made for that kinda format :)

Fine with me. I'll be going last then.
Also, official deadline for signing up is Thursday night at 11:59:59 p.m. EDT.

Yeah I trust you could make a nice beat for this. You think you could have one ready in 2 days?
And remember if you're in on this to RSVP with Byron, since he'll be doing the mixing and stuff. There's a 48 hour signup period, and after that he'll post the roster order.
Also, I think it would be best if we all wrote and recorded our verses right after the beat is introduced, otherwise this shit would take 12 years to complete. I say we give 5 days for all verses to be in, then Byron will probably take a day or 2 to mix and master. So all in all, this project should be completed and available to the public in about 9 days from now.
I really don't think we should be dissing each other on this. We should just aspire for ultimate dopeness and leave the animosity for the battles and discussion thread.
Thumbs up if you agree. durrrrrrrrrrrrrr

To anyone else who wants to sign up, please just pm me. I may miss it if you just post in this thread, and it's the easiest way to track the participants.

Motherfucker, you need to HAVE some ideas before you can test what "prevails." If we both win this round, I'm gonna eat you for breakfast and shit you by lunchtime.
As for this collab, BigRed hate song?? Yeah?

Wow dude I thought you were joking. That would be cool if it was just a couple people making a joke track.
For this venture, it seems like a pretty bad idea since (hopefully) at least half of the listeners won't know who the hell Big Red is. Plus all that would do is stroke the SHIT out of his ego. So count me out if that's really what you want to do with a collab of this magnitude.
I think we just just make it as dope as possible. This is a chance for us to network our asses off in many places other than Clabtrap, so why don't we try to just make a hot ass collab, not too many inside jokes, and then we all can push the track everywhere we have a following. This way we can all gain new listeners.

j/k about bigred! I just wanted to hate on him because he's horrible. Geez ok let's do a friggin normal rap song. But question...has doing something like this actually helped anybody get new listeners?
