A shame, sadly I haven't seen House since season 4 though. But still it is a shame it will be over soon, which season number is it ending on then?

Also I hope Hugh Laurie gets a good role after this show ends. He is amazing, who knows maybe something working with Steven Fry again, that would be legendary.

It was great fun when I watched it, but when I lost the option to watch on TV I just let it go and didn't end up searching for videos etc. of the new episodes, likely get DVDs of the last 4 eventually.

I'm not seeing it. To me it's House getting another chance after messing up again; the last mistake being, driving a car into Cuddy's house. I think I lost interest really in season 5, but I'll watch to see how season 8 ends up.

I love that show, but it has gone on for quite a while with not much real change. Episodes follow a the same formula, basically. I just hope that House finds happiness in the end.

Not really cancelled. Producers and Hugh Laurie himself decided to end the show this season. I haven't seen much of this season, I think his new team is kind of lame (that asian chick is annoying) but I'll definitely watch the ending.

Anyway, the ideal ending is that House dies of a drug overdose...but discovers beforehand that his opiate-riddled blood is the cure to an epidemic rampaging throughout the clinic, specifically because it is riddled with opiates. So even on his deathbed he still gets the last laugh.

I hate this current season. They had something cool going on in the first episode, and it gave me so much hope for a badass season, but they went nowhere with that angle.

And honestly, I really hate Charlyne Yi's character.

Shit, I've recently been considering starting to watch all the House seasons because I've heard they're pretty good AND it's Hugh Laurie, one of the funniest comedians back in the day, before he started limping around with a fake american accent.
