Bring back titles?

This is the only thing I don't like about the re-design, but other than that I love it. But basically:

I don't like the idea of having only the preview pics for Games and Movies and having to scroll over each pic to see the title of it. If I'm on the frontpage and all the titles are there it's much easier for me to just skim read the titles and have one that catches my attention. It seems like more work to have to hover my cursor over each pic to check out the title. For me the preview pictures have no attraction for me, it's the title.

Perfect example. See picture below. That's the preview pic of a current submission on the front page. That picture there has no appeal whatsoever, and I'm sure you'd agree. However, upon hovering over it I see its title is "Nerds can never ever love" which immediately makes me feel like checking it out. But just looking at the preview pic does not convince me to watch it at all.

So all in all, I LOVE the re-design, and this is only a minor thing, but I would love to see titles under the preview pictures on the frontpage, and in the portals and stuff.

I read the title as "Bring back titties?"
But I don't really care if they add titles to the thumbnails again, I usually just watch whatever has a decent picture on it.

While I agree that having titles put up would be a bit more helpful, I can't see a way of implementing it without taking up too much space. The icons take up too much space already, and adding titles would make it worse.

I do miss the small descriptions that submissions had though....

That's my point. Some people are attracted to the picture, some to the title. I found the example I mentioned in my original post to be quite an interesting watch. But I only watched it because I decided to read the titles of each submission by hovering my mouse over it, and that title got my attention. Going by picture alone I would have never bothered to watch it and would have missed out on a little bit of enjoyment..
