Desperate sounding singers?

I'm looking for bands (or solo artists) who have desperate sounding singing voices. It might not be very clear what i mean so let me try and explain. I want singers who sound like they are struggling to get through the song, i want them to sound
raw and highly emotional, i want them to sound on the verge of tears. I want them to be bellowing from the depths of their souls, croaking, cracking, bursting through with their lyrics.

Here's Ov Hollowness, totalselfhatred, Kalmah, old Katatonia, new Katatonia. Not emotional out loud, but depressed emotion, Metallica, Korn, and more Metallica. I don't really rely on just the vocalists sounding desperate; I also look out for the music, too, which is why I'm a bit lacking on what you specifcally want. Have fun, sport.
