Hello everyone, it doesn't seem like posting on the collaboration forum gets much results so I'm going to try appealing directly on the programmers forum. I'm working on a 2D sidescroller beat em up. I was previously collaborating with a programmer, but he got sidetracked so I had to cut ties and start looking for someone new. I have a lot of work already done over 50 sprites drawn and animated along with 2 backgrounds for level 1 and 2. The game will feature a pretty in depth combo system and some fairly intelligent AI so I can't promise it will be easy for anyone who wants to take on the challenge. Most importantly though I'm looking for someone who has the time and won't drag their feet through the project. I also want everyone to know you will be treated like a 50% partner and have the same level of input as me. I want to avoid posting too much on the forums but I will leave a sample for you to view of one of my favorite sprites. PM me if you're interested.

I'm confident this can be a great game and this could be a good opportunity for anyone who wants to join me. I'm really eager to complete this game and get somebody on board. So if you need to see more from me let me know, I have a lot of work to show.
Not overly intelligent but you know beat em ups are kind of like a variation of fighting games so the enemies have a couple different moves in their arrays like one of the enemies has a regular attack and the ability to block, and another has the ability to grab you and also the ability to perform a regular attack. So their is a certain level of decision making on the part of the enemies between using their moves. There are 5 different enemies I've created and I'll have a boss which I haven't gotten into yet. I basically set up the enemies as having one offensive enemy, one defensive enemy, one ambush type, one big strong enemy, and a small harassment enemy (the sample above).
He self destructs so the explosion is supposed to actually hurts you, the death pushes him back and he harmlessly pops.
