It's in the format of an old-school text adventure like Zork except with graphics. The commands used to be chosen from user suggestions but the creator stopped doing that.
Many people stop reading it because they get bored around the first act, but it's worth getting through that - it gets seriously epic after that. Also, the aliens aren't introduced until much later on.

Anyways, enjoy I guess.
