Sorry but i quit, I can't make anything and my wacom's won't work so :(

I've finished my current flash and having time to check out the forums and then i read this announcement, and i think i could try out, i'm not pretty good but, i think i'll figure something to make a sketch animation, i think i need one physical comedy idea.

and here is the preview, i was little excite and wanted to be on the collab, i know there is time until june, and i did this like as fast as possible.

Yeh, that sounds about right. If you want other ideas for what sort of thing you could animate, you can go back over previous year's collabs and see what other people did.

I also asked the guy making the part that will appear before mine (Energyrain), how his part will act out, and then try to make them work together.

The only problem with that is that only the best 18 parts are actually going to be used in the collab. So you'd have to somehow make sure yours and the person before you were in the top 18.

Well, once we hit the deadline, I'll decide on which are the best 18 parts, then we have to choose music from the Audio Portal. So I'm thinking towards the end of June, maybe the beginning of July if it takes a while, but I doubt it'll take that long.

Not bad so far, but like I said before, the parts list is full, and we have a waiting list for places. I'll let you know when a slot becomes available for you.

Yeah, Kembrys part from last year is a great example of what I meant. Just doodling around. I might actually go with that as an intro, or put to sketch worlds against each other. Would be fun to play around with the theme.

Didn't know that thing about 18 parts, I see now that I missed it. But then I'll make mine a standalone piece of work instead.

A standalone piece is probably the best thing. Having a piece that would flow cohesively after mine would be kind of difficult. And sorry about not getting the part to you (i guess it doesn't matter now though). I've been really busy with school is all :P

Sure, throw me on there. I'll likely animate something regardless of whether I get in or not - good practice and such.

Sorry to everyone that I've not been that active recently, school's kinda been hectic with the build up to exams in May/June, so I've been pretty distracted. I'll try and get here more often.

Also, I'd like to put a reminder out there that people need to show progress by11th May, because that's when I'm doing another hack through the list to get rid of people who aren't using their slots and give those slots to people who might. So yeh, you've got 12 days until then. I think this is long enough notice that people should have plenty of time to respond and have something to show for it.

God I hope I manage my shit.. I'm basicly taking each assignment in school as they come at me. Finals comming by 15th-16th, then the rest of my 2-3 weeks of school is basicly about graduation and slacking... But I'll try and get some start going, like put a night aside whenever I get it.

Alright, I was having trouble loading mine up to the DumpingGrounds so I posted my progress on my FB Page Here.

It's alot slower frame-rate then it should be, just so you can take a look at what I'm doing a bit better and see for yourself what's done and whats not. At full speed im at about 20 seconds...I thought the time restraint was 30 seconds, so If anyone is dropping out I wouldn't mind taking their time spot and continuing mine on a bit longer, I need to add a scene where he loses the letter after it lands on him so he can chase after it into that jump, after the jump im missing him opening the letter. Other than that He just needs to fell the cyclops thing and reach the tower and I'm more or less done.

Still super rough. Haven't had much of a chance to work on it yet because of other commitments and the fact that my computer's been having major problems for the last month or so.

Right now my comp died completely but me and my dad are gonna try to fix it if nothing gets fixed... then wtf.., i will have to buy a new comp instead of car. but i will start as soon as i get a chance.

I'll be posting a snip of my part today. Just so I don't get the boot. :p

Holy crap. That is an insane level of effort right there! Wow! I almost feel bad that it's part of a collab and not it's own submission, but still! This is the sort of super insanely-high quality stuff that'll blow the past collabs out of the water! I cannot wait to see this in a more complete form! My ONLY criticism so far is that it's lacking the collab background image. Other than that, man, I am psyched for this part.

Wow. You wait a few months for a few good parts to start showing up, and then two awesome ones show up in mid development within the space of a day. Looks good so far. Can't wait to see it when it's done.

Wow, guys. There are 10 people on the list who haven't posted in two whole months. Now, like last time, I'm gonna give them an extra day to check up on the thread and give us a sign that they're still with us, but if, when I get up on Sunday, they haven't posted at any point the previous day, then they're out. Man, I honestly didn't think I'd have to cut so many people in one go. Especially considering there's a lot of potential in this list right here. Damn.

In other news, the Waiting List is now closed. There are five people on it right now, and if they join the main list then it's not gonna fill up again. Those five people are: Jamieneo66, rock6401, EthanAlways, Cordyceps and dude196. This is it, people. Final deadline to get parts done by is June 21st, at which point the best 18 parts will be chosen for inclusion in the collab.

Although given how many people are listed to be cut, part of me wonders if there'll even be 18 people still here by then.
