3.93 / 5.00 4,634 ViewsHi NG! I've been planning for a while to create a graphic adventure game. The problem is that I'm a horrible artist and don't have too much time for learning enough flash for getting it right on a reasonable time, and I might abandon it.
The idea started as a college project for a interactive youtube video, but the shit got too serious and now I'm trying to find a way to create a good game. Several episodes should be released as the story is kind of a long one (I still haven't ended it yet but already have the ending and enough material for a couple of episodes).
The plot would be set in a futuristic society, mostly indoors as it involves breaking out of a prison. And the aesthetic I would like to use is dark, kind of like Blade runner, but with more advanced technology. The use of extra-terrestrial races won't be needed as the plot will only be developed in Earth, but I don't reject the idea though. Also the story will involve some references to films of all kinds so if you enjoy movies you'll might like to work on this project.
As this would be my first submission, I'm doing this as a hobby, so there won't be any money involved.
Those interested comment here or send me a PM.
Thanks for reading! :D
And sorry if there are any mistakes in my english :(
So let me get this straight...You can't make any art for yourself on flash....Or program the game itself...Those are literally the only two things that matter when it comes to producing a flash based game. You just want other people to make a game for you without using any effort. Lame.

Look, I'm offering a good story for a good graphic adventure game, in fact, I'm trying to get it to the people on newgrounds as they have been doing the same thing for years for all of us.
The point is that if I couldn't find someone who could help me I'd begin to create it with the AGS (Adventure Game Studio), but then I wouldn't accomplish my original idea, so yeah.
On the other hand I'm a writer, and guess what do writers do? EXACTLY.
And another thing you haven't stopped to think is who the f*ck would create the music, well guess who?
So next time you want to judge someone think a little bit and ask some questions.

Woah! Lets take the hostility down a notch.. I think you're looking in the right place, and if you wanted to you could lead a collaboration, but I would suggest handing the script off to an animator to really get the ball rolling.
Even though a script is essential, with a video game your run into things like gameplay, character design, maps, and even the attacks. Thats the tough part.
Think about it like this... A programmer/animator can directly modify on what you've done. Can you directly modify their work?
That's why I say it might be better to be managed, rather than manage.
Either way you get to see your idea come to life. :)

I don't have a problem with that, and I know all the hard work artists and programmers have to face. But you say I should post what I have of the script here and wait?
Thanks for answering :)
