I am making a tutorial for people that are just starting using Flash. Any ideas for what I could include?

It depends if you want to do a tutorial in animation through flash or a tutorial on flash, what are you doing?

well you should start with opening a blank document, and then going through the tools, how to insert key frames and other frames how to use layers. Then you should show them how to do frame-by-frame animation is done, go through the basics of animation as the above poster has stated add in easing as well, as that's pretty important, and show them the process of keying in frames and then doing in-betweens to smooth the action; you could do all the animation, with the bouncing ball. Then do a little bit on tweens.

There are loads of beginner tutorials out there so my advice would just be to think back to when you started learning Flash and note down all the techniques you first learned. Then expand on those techniques and start setting up an index page of them. I think the important thing is to make the tutorial quite unique so that it brings something new and interesting to the table.

Just make a tutorial on whatever you want. Preferably just show them your techniques.
