I thought that they would have changed the portal voting to a simple up or down thumb. If a flash had more than 60% of people vote down on the thumb then the flash would be blammed forever or something such as that.

DID SOMEONE CALL MY NAME?!
Me, I rarely give out perfect scores to flashes so I think this review system will help me keep away from handing perfect scores out as often.
If I ever vote on a flash, it either gets 0, 3, or 5. Maybe 4, if I feel like being different that day.
Fuck 1 & 2.
I think the only time a 5-number rating system works is when it is under judgment, or extremely close to the value. Voting something 5 or 0 will increase your voting power more than what you think it deserves. I vote things I believe should have a higher rating 5, and things I believe should have a lower rating 0, just to further influence my vote. Even if I believe something deserves a 4, and has a rating of 4.1, voting 0 will change it more than voting 4. I thought the staff would just replace the voting system with a thumbs up and down button, and from that a 5-number rating can still be derived by averaging the votes.
If I hate something or think it's not worthy of being hosted here, I give it a 0. I rarely give 5's for Flash, but I do for excellent pieces in the art portal.

How so? Voting 2 or 1 on a flash would also blam it and voting 3 or 4 would also save it. It doesn't matter if he rates a game more drastically or not, because there's only two outcomes.
