at the moment you icon picture is just black... do you want the whole thing transparent?
if not, post a picture in your post where it says (Include Image? - "upload") and choose your current icon picture...

I think the icon issue is from the screen resolution. I've tried multiple browsers and multiple resolutions but nothing looks different to me. However, that is really the only reason I could come up with...
Does anyone get different results when using different resolutions or browsers?

My moms pc gives a different result, then my own pc, with chrome and zoom level 125%. It looks fine at 100%
I also get a different result on ps3.

Hi! I am a budding icon maker. I need some experience, and want to join the group for some. Also: is it okay if I use Paint or no? Because I can't buy things like photoshop (I have GIMP though).

I have worked exclusively with MS paint before I got Photoshop, and I thought I really didn't need anything else. But let me tell you, PS makes things TONS easier, if you even have the slightest idea what you are doing. I looked around for some free image editors, and didn't find much (wan't looking very hard though), but you might want to try this out.

i use MS paint all the time... its what i made my level icon in *and what I'm doing the rest in* because its so dam quick and simple... never crashes *unless you mess with the size button... then you might crash it*... i have Photoshop but i would prefer to work in paint for these sorts of things...

Hmm, for some reason my background is a bit dark. I can't figure out why, but if you can fix it I'd really appreciate it if you could use this to better effect than I and keep the background grey consistent! Thanks!

Only thing I don't like about MS paint is sometimes the quality of the picture can be lost. If you take an image in photoshop and export it, then open it in paint and re-save it, the quality seems like it decreased.

saving it as a JPG?... try saving it as a png or bitmap *although takes up more memory* and it should keep its shape ;)

The grains on Pod3 do not align to BBSStar because the Pod Back stretches out to accommodate handicapped posting styles (i.e. 3-12 paragraphs for a simple reply).

I know I already sort of requested this however I figure I'll put in an official request to see how you guys can handle this.
I would like a custom made, quadruple(4) headed flail icon, that distinguishes it self from the current triple headed flail icon. Keeping in the current NG style redesign. With a Light aura.
I'd prefer if the heads looked different, spikier or something, maybe a different color, have fun with it. If you choose to take on this request, could you shoot me a pm to let me know you are/will be working on it?

Actually I was more looking for it to be completely re-made, not just recolored and 'shopped' to have a 4th head. I don't expect this to be a 20 min work up. If anyone is willing to go that far, you'd in essence be designing a whole new level icon. Different in design of the heads, to have for example spikes instead of flat nubs. the handle at a different angle With the balls hanging differently.
It would be a project lol.
