Newest Audio?

Hey, I'm new to submitting here and I don't know if this is how it normally is, if there is some kind of way to do this, or what, but none of my audio has shown up on the latest audio list. The first submission was either a day or two before the site went down for the new design launch, so I don't know if it has something to do with that or what. If anyone could enlighten me that would be amazing. ^^

Your first submission has to be approved by a moderator first. I just submitted my first one too awhile ago, took two weeks to be approved.

It looks like it has uploaded though, and I could submit a second song as well. Is there any indication of whether or not it has been approved by a moderator?

Before the redesign took place, your audio would not show up on your profile at all until approved by an audio moderator... Post Redesign, your audio will show up on your profile regardless of your approval status.. however, you must be approved before your stuff will be available in the Audio Portal itself, and not just on your profile.

This new system works much like the Art Portal does (Ala Scouting system).

That said, the system is still under construction and is subject to change in the (hopefully) near future.

So my music right now is not viewable by anyone else? And then I wait for a moderator to double check the make sure it's legit?

No, it is viewable by anyone that goes to your profile, your music is still public even if you haven't been approved. It's just that it will not be anywhere in the Audio Portal itself... meaning if you haven't been approved and you submitted a Classical track (Just for example), it will not show up in the "New Submissions" list, nor will it show up in the Classical section of the audio portal until you have been approved, it will only be visible by everyone on your profile.

Ok I think I understand what is going on. So there aren't any bugs going on or anything?

Nope, it's not a bug, this is what's supposed to happen, it hasn't been fully fleshed out yet, but this is how the new system works.

The audio moderating process is being overhauled so that we don't have to deal with a list of hundreds to sometimes thousands of people wanting to be approved, and as far as I know, we'll be functioning a lot more like the Art Portal does in terms of moderation, meaning you no longer have to wait weeks to months for your music to show up on your profile anymore because the audio mods are backed up by hundreds of submissions before your own... It'll be there instantly, even if it is your first time submitting.

That would be really good. It must be hard going through all of those audio submissions.
