I can't stand bright websites. Unless done well, of course. Examples of done well could include Facebook, Google, Flickr, Wikipedia, etc. Basically, slick, clean minimalist designed websites. When it gets bright, cluttered, and gross, then we have a problem.

Loved ya, dawg! I'm gonna miss that "Coming Soon" chat page. Although I'm still open to the idea of there being an actual chat.

and to the more recent users, once you seen your first major redesign, they really become no big deal. they even exciting because it its new and fresh.

well, it's been fun- I've known this design since its inception and I guess I'll see it out.

this is the second design for newgrounds i have seen, and it's probably my favourite.

this was the first one I saw.

wow what an era. the one with me posting, the art portal being dicked, some stupid threads i remember, thousands of shit flashes, my account getting dicked twice, all my horrible alts and that short but pwning spamming spree it even got like 2 threads about it and the kitty krew not being gay for a short time. even though this theme is awful and fucking shit newgrounds did have some funny shit happen while it was around goodbye

For once, I will miss a site's current layout but will be more than welcome to the redesign. I already made my last EXP update showing the current level icons so that's that sorted out.

I've heard the new tiling is splendid. Can't wait.

I doubt there will be. They haven't taken the two days I'd imagine it would take to add an integrated IRC channel, so they probably won't going forward.

Part of the problem, I'd guess, is that they'd probably have to run their own IRC server to prevent nick overlaps between NG users and users on whatever server they run it on, which I suppose could be more resource-intensive than they feel like putting up with. I heard a rumor a while back that it was because of authentication issues, but if they're running their own server, they should be able to run NickServ and plug that into their login system here. But I'm not an admin, so that's all just conjecture.
