I always thought of beats as overpriced garbage, the only thing I was ever interested in was the program dre was using in the commercial. I stick with Skull Candy's because there cheap, and have really good quality. And they feel comfortable, sometimes the Apple ear buds can get a tad annoying. That, and its really annoying when half of the school have beats.

Sad thing is they are only getting it because Dr. Dre has them.

I'm a huge fan of headphones, and have about 3 pairs of skull candies, 2 pairs of beats, 1 pair of Bose's and about 4 pairs of Sennheisers.

Both Skullcandies and Beats are terrible choices for someone who actually wants to hear music. Skullcandies are known to be extremely delicate and having a horrible range in sound. Beats have a huge lead in sound, but are extremely overpriced, and still not worth it.

Get sennheiser's, the cheapest Sennheiser headphone has audio quality that is 2 times better then that of beats. There durable, cost effective, and produce really good sound. The only "problem" I had with a pair was the length of the wire. It's really long on some, but that's a blessing and a curse.

Neither, because they are both shoddy and fall apart easily. I rarely use headphones, I usually just listen to the music in my head. If I ever feel the need to listen to music, I'd rather play it through speakers. I like music to be ambient, not something buzzing in my ear.

If I must pick headphones, Ima go with Bose.

Skullcandy is shit. I haven't tried Beats.
Sony is good for the low price, Bose is god tier.

To be honest, Ive never tried either brand of headphone mentioned.
Of course they are far more stylish than waht I have, but I personally think their a bit overhyped.
You can see beats in just about every music video nowadays!

nonetheless, my bose headphones have served me well ever sinse I got them.
the sound quality is subperb; and makes up for the conservative design.
Although I will ALWAYSprefer music blared out via speakers!

headphones have travel advantage which is why i prefer headphones but speakers kick ass too especially my logitech surround sound speakers thats no bigger than a corncob.

Well, I mean It's obviously about what you want soundwise and what you listen to. Beats are, by a large better. Just not two and a half bills better. They're both pretty mediocre though. Demon, to me, makes the best followed closely by AT.
