Fortunately I have not.
I have fortunately never been anorexic. I'm already more than skinny enough.

I only know of one person on NG who has suffered from and/or continues to suffer from anorexia: WaterShake.

Did he state that he had anorexia? How did you know?

Right now, I'm not going to school yet because I'm kind of terrified on what people might say about my weight gain. :(

You can eat heavy metals to gain weight and still look the same.

Ever wondered what it would feel like to chug mercury? It seems like it would feel as if you have a million tiny splinters piercing your throat. and it would be so heavy that it you jumped in the air the mercury hitting the bottom of your stomach would burst out thru the bottom. Mmmm mercury.
Jeez dude
I did for a short time. Then I discovered pizza again.
Unlikely, most newgrounders are fat asses, though WaterShake was very underweight, not sure I'd call him anorexic, however. Anyway good luck on your recovery -- anorexia is a terrible condition and I wish you the best. Also, you're still very thin and have no reason to preoccupy over your weight -- who cares what the people at school say?

Who cares about their opinions, if they have one. If they are so overtly pathetic to insult you when you are perfectly fine for your height, age, then they are the ones with issues.

Fat ass is too much of a strong word to describe people on Newgrounds. Everyone on this site vary in weight. I have almost recovered, and I am still seeing my psychiatrist for sessions of therapy. Thank you though. :)

Yes, with his alternate account. Under his main account, he showed some pics; he exhibited signs of anorexia.

Not really.

Well, he was.

I weighed about 25 kilos, or 55 pounds during my worst of the eating disorder.
I hope WaterShake will realize soon that this illness is very fatal, and he should seek professional help immediately. I almost died during that time. :\

I'm glad that you've recovered. I wish you the best of luck with all of this.
I hope WaterShake is getting help as well.

I would usually fast. If I didn't, all I would eat is just 3 medium sized boiled potatoes every single day.
Don't worry though, I eat healthily as of now. :)
I'm still opting for full recovery. Doctors have mentioned to me that full recovery of Anorexia Nervosa takes at least 6 years.
You look about 8 years old. Congrats on getting healthy. Healthy looks way more attractive than skinny.
The sig that I'm wearin? Awesomely made by Skaren!

i don't suffer from the condition, fortunately, and i don't know anyone who has any form of eating disorder.
do you always have a poor appetite, or are just afraid of gaining weight? i have a poor understanding on the disorder itself, and am curious about it.
I am just a random user from a set of measure zero and thus am negligible.

I have had such a screwed up relationship towards food.
It was all about control. CONTROL. DISCIPLINE. It felt good whenever I felt the hunger, especially when my guts were starting to hurt. I didn't exactly know why this sensation felt so good to me.
Since then, I've been eating less and less. I could eat as little as possible and be very proud of myself. Soon, I was losing weight rapidly. I tried looking for help on online forums and I've read that when someone eats so little on a daily basis, their metabolisms get suppressed. When the metabolism gets suppressed, losing weight gets harder and gaining was very easy. Weight would pile on rapidly if I started eating normally again.
After reading that, I was terrified of weight gain. Weight loss has made me happy. Total self control and discipline has made me happy.

Based on the difference between this and the first picture, people will probably compliment you on how much healthier you look.
Thankfully not.
Also, you're on good shape, you don't need to worry about what the other kids say.
Pretend not to care about anything, but be bothered by everything.
You may be fast on the roads but it's no use on the track.
ScaryPicnic made me do it.My letterboxd.
I personally prefer Bulimia over anorexia, more interesting.

Nope.
But I can remotely relate in some odd way. 2 years ago, i had a stomach virus, which then developed into a stomach condition (GERD among other things) and I lost 30 pounds, and I couldn't gain weight. I wasn't vomiting, but the intense pain in my stomach after eating was so unbearable my stomach nearly shrunk to the size of an apple and I developed severe emetophobia. Which I still heavily suffer from today, especially in winter when noro virus is extremely common.
