MGS. They should start series from beginning again, but keep the gameplay the way it is. I don't want another MGS where Snake relies on guns as much as in MGS4, even though that game in itself was very good IMO.

-sonic's friends aren't annoying.

It's the end of Marcus' story, but there's no doubt we'll at least see a prequel at some point. The war's over but there's a whole 14 years between E-Day and the first game, and there's the Pendulum Wars before that, plenty of stuff to make another game about. Plus Gears is really the only good reason to own an Xbox any more, MS can't afford to let it go.

And there aren't really any games that don't deserve a sequel, because a sequel can always be where a developer shines and improves on where they went wrong, in which they can make amazing games.

I think this is more for games that have been wrapped up nicely, and any further instalments would be retarded and potentially ruin the series, like Final Fantasy X-2 for example.

Everyone should have that chance.

What about games like Spyro, where the developers have repeatedly demonstrated that they don't have any fucking idea of what made the first games great and could not make a half decent game to save their lives? Any more sequels would just be painful and if the devs want to prove that they're still good they would be better off just releasing a new IP instead of repeatedly butchering the old ones. Everyone deserves a second chance, but when they have gone this far off course they should know when to just fucking give up.

Conker's bad fur day was one of my favorite games, but now Rare is shit.

What microsoft did to them..There is no penance for that.

Rare went from the Golden Age in the 90's to the Stupid Ages in less than a month whne Microsoft purchased them.

I think the next Assassin's Creed should be the last, getting a bit repetetive I think, but the story obviously needs to be wrapped up so AC: III should come out.

You do realize Halo 4 isn't being made by Bungie, right (who were the one's who didn't want to make a fourth)? And that it was Microsoft's decision to handover the license to another developer and milk the game. I figure a similar thing would have to happen to Gears in order for there to be a fourth. Epic would have to be willing to let another developer take over the title. And I just don't see Epic doing that.
