I mean I see many animations with thousands of frames and than I see these ones with like 100 different drawings for the entire thing, I see the other one as an incredibly easy way to animate but not a good way. What I want to do is like a mix of 100 frames and than decent animation and than back to the 100 frames. How would I do this?
Your answer depends on the number of frames per second you intend to make :D
There are things I do and there are things I want to do. Overall, I just want to live my life and end it the way I want.
i think you are really talking about a good happy medium between tweening and frame by frame
check out this tutorial luis did a while back

it talks about how to combine the "100 frame method" and the "1000 frame method" as you put it - -
naturally using tweens will allow less drawings to be needed...and frame by frame will demand more - -
so thats that! good luck
