I'm worried about this but at the same time I'm not.
I am severely worried if this is a sign my mental health is in disarray, but I decided to ask you guys and not a doctor because if others can relate it might not be something I should worry about.
Dreams are dreams. If you let them control how you life your life, then yes you need help. Otherwise, just let dreams be dreams

To see or play board games in your dream signifies your progress in life. How you do in the board game is analogous to the setbacks and accomplishments in your waking life. Consider the name of the board game you are playing in your dream for additional significance.
You do not make examples, you make excuses; you do not solve problems, you shift problems; you do not stand behind your statements, you stand behind your stasis.

You are clearly ignorant then.
Dreams are incredibly accurate more than astrology and tarot cards will ever be.
I have interpreted my dreams.. and on Dec, 22nd 2010. I interpreted over 200 dreams of other people just to see if it was valid. Turns out, you can tell alot about somebody through their random dream symbols.
Stuff that aren't vague. ^^

do you actually think you know half as much as you try to show?
Sometimes i dream about morgan freeman giving me his autograph. Is this some sort of analogy for god? No, it's just a dream. They are a collection of prior memories, events, ect mashed together and presented in different places/situations. Like movies.
I have dreams where monsters are trying to kill me. Far better than your boring dreams.

From my experience he is just as credible as you on this matter, as no one is CERTAIN why or how we dream, except for the physical portion, it has not been known what actually causes us to dream about what we do dream about.

Heheheh.. you have no idea how ignorant you are.
I'm onto something, and you are mad that you can't see it.
Dreams are alot more than what you can possibly fathom.. It also links to alot of other concepts that you won't be able to fathom.
Continue living in this pseudo physical world of yours. :D While I connect the dots with those who actually have rational minds.

I actually believe insanctuary is right, because our minds obviously don't produce dreams at random.

The only reason I disagree is that I've found that some people have given me help translating my dreams and looking back on it they make sense.

People who linger on the metaphysical nature of dreams are driven crazy once they find something that completely contradicts their theory. It' an endless cycle.

I'm neither mad nor concerned for your OPINION. The problem with "connecting the dots" as you say, is that you seem to be attempting to connect fantasy with reality. Yes, some dreams do have a connection with what's happening with your life. But not all of them. Also just because you try to sound smart doesn't mean you're rational. To the OP, think what you will, just make sure you try to build your own opinion and not let any one of us effect your belief so much that you go crazy. If there is a problem in your life, dreams would be the last thing you should be focusing on.
No-one understands another person's dreams, and no-one can create empirically accurate predictions based from dreams. Dreams about board games are just dreams about board games, let them be what they are.
BTW, who won?
Me so witty.

They told me what the different items in the dream meant, that I was hiding something and afraid someone would see that particular flaw, which is the exact situation I was in when I had the dream.

Dreams are accurate. It is not the same thing as that vague illusion given off by astrology and tarot cards.
We dream every single day, and for the symbols to explain your current status to a T every single night [providing that you remember them] You tend to question if there is something more to it.
I used to be skeptic of them aswell.. until I had 3 dreams that told a story. It was an incredibly vivid story of me saving a young boy [the innocent male characteristics of myself] then a young girl [the innocent female characteristics of myself] and the third dream I fought what appeared to be my shadow?
Then.. My dreams reached a whole new course.. I had night terrors for a month..
This is why humans are distracted by a bunch of illusions.. because each of us have a very dark side of us that can only attack us while we are asleep. This is why alot of people forget their dreams or don't think they do. Because they were actually being pursued by their 'other side' that got tired of being ignored.
Just look up Jung. He seems to have a great interpretation of our dreamer world.
Trust me.. Our dreamer world could explain alot more than just that.. How much do you want to bet that the imaginative realm IS the mind's language? That everything we imagine is the same, or like the realm of our dreams?
I'm telling you.. I'm onto something big that can reshape this world's perspective.
You do not make examples, you make excuses; you do not solve problems, you shift problems; you do not stand behind your statements, you stand behind your stasis.

Nothing more than what inception was onto. It's a fantasy that is or isn't effected by your current life. You could have night terrors and be perfectly happy awake.
You're either to dumb or stubborn to accept the possibility that you are wrong. The fact that i don't care doesn't mean i haven't spent a good amount of time thinking about it.
Or you do a lot of drugs and need to re-enter the real world, cause the drugs whether illegal or not, will effect your dreams and other states of being.
That doesn't sound dangerous to me. It could mean that you are unsure about your identity. Playing board games with yourself - it will reveal your strengths and weaknesses. Play until the last move has to be made and you will understand yourself better. The things that you will find out can be horrible or amazing - most likely even both. All those underlying parts of your personality define who you are and you can only find peace when you acknowledge their existance. I think that those dreams will help you to feel comfortable with yourself, which will lead you to a higher state of happiness.
Without truth, there is no justice.

Interestingly enough, he also said all men want to kill their fathers and rape their mothers. Except we proved scientifically that your body instinctively tries to stay away and is repelled from sexual attraction to your family members.
How about you prove this dream shit scientifically before calling others ignorant for not believing in your philosophy.
So does Jung, and he isn't a nut-case. What point are you trying to draw? Why is everyone trying to find every way to assume I am just a pathetic 19 year old? It's becoming tiring.. Hearing it over and over again.
This is why Science is opposed by me. Since, Science is built on a language that doesn't exist. We interpreted predetermined patterns of our world where we could understand it. That is as far as we can go. I like to see Science try to prove something they are too systematical to see.
It's called intuition, mate. It's far more than your Science will ever be. Anyone can just add their interpretation to a world. Not everybody is able to see beyond what we see with our physical eyes. This is where you are deluded.
The imaginative realm is the language of the mind. It explains why there are alot of weird shit that goes on. It even sheds more light on why religion is so ridiculous.. and still exists.
Look up the symbols for God, Alien, Zombie, Vampire, Shadow, Monster, Etc. Go look them up.. and watch it describe those who believe in it to a T.
Here I'll help you with one. ''To dream of God denotes your pursuit to seek for perfection that is impossible to obtain.''

By chance are you getting that from dreammoods.com? Because using a website doesn't make you more intelligent.

Okay nothing to see here, just some kid who thinks that his drug experience is means for throwing out facts. Imagination is great to have. But if you only live in your imagination, rather than in moderation, you lose your connection with the real world and aren't able to make actual connections to what could be helpful/useful to anyone but you.
You have the fossilized fetus of your would-be twin brother in your head and you constantly battle each other through chess for control of the body.

Goodnight everybody
I've often dreamt of me playing fighting games against myself.
some of the best rounds of guilty gear I've had have been against myself in a dream.
