I always vote qualitatively. I give each submission its fair share of time and objectively consider all of its qualities. The only time I hand out a 5 is if I cannot think of anything to improve it. Generally if I am going to leave a review, I do that before voting - that helps me solidify my decision. I don't review often, but I try to whenever I watch or play something that I enjoy (especially if it could be improved).

I vote whenever I play a game or watch a movie. I rarely ever leave the page without voting - even if I have my points for the day already. It's just a simple, quick courtesy that makes people happy - certainly worth the ten seconds or so of deliberation. Sometimes I go through the most recent submissions to quickly get 5 points, while other times I spend some time looking for awesome gems that I missed in the past. I never really use the front page to discover things. I look at the flashes on it but I generally don't end up clicking on any of them.

For me, voting serves three purposes:
- Help others improve their work, or at least put a smile on their face
- Help other viewers find good content
- Get shiny experience points

I believe very strongly in the integrity of a vote-based quality control system.

No, I usually use them the way they were originally intended.

Yes, but oddly enough, I NEVER use 1. If I don't like something, I really don't like it.

Not too often, unless it's particularly good or has a lot of flaws that could be easily fixed.

A little of both

Do you vote to help the website grow and give feedback to other users using flash?

A bit of that, but also to prevent shitty submissions from flooding the site (I know they're on here and I'll never get all of them, I said "flooding").
