When i was a kid i didnt listhen to music that often music has recently in last 3 years become an enenormous part of my persona. The thread has gone way off course, but just for the record, the bassist of Cannibal Corpse has always cited progressive players like Billy Sheehan and Victor Wooten as influences. He's also in Blotted Science with one of the most technical guitar players on the planet (Ron Jarzombek). If Death Metal isn't someone's cup of tea, that's fine, but to say a bassist like Alex Webster isn't progressively sound is just retarded.
