Music you liked as a little kid

So NG, what music did you like when you listen to (willingly or not) When you were a young child? And do you still like it today? Do you see it important to developing what you like currently?

I didn't have much choice in what I listened to, and I was restricted to what was in the bottom of the CD rack. It was mostly filled with stuff I didn't care for, I just wanted to listen to something. I mostly picked out some Motown hit comps, Neil Young, Afrika Bambaataa, and Coldplay's parachutes. One time my Mom accidentally left Megadeth's Rust in Peace in my shelf. That was probably the best mistake she'd ever made. I still like a lot of the stuff I listened to, save for most of the pop punk and Black eyed Peas.

Although I grew up in the '90s, I enjoyed a lot of '80s soft rock music.
