Need New Game...

Within 2 hours I want to buy a new game, spur of the moment purchases like this need no real thought put in to the subject of purchasing.

It's the subject of what game to purchase, I want something awesome, and I want something new.

I'm not too sure about SR 3 because I like havign a good story in games, I got Uncharted 3, I got Skyrim... What else is there out right now that is worth picking up?

I only use my PS3, so PS3 games please.

Yes Dark Souls made me smoke more than my usual half-pack a day, so I gave up on playing it, no game is worth that much to me.
It seemed like a big mess once I thought about it anyway, the game was somewhat a disaster.

I did get RAGE about a month or so back when it was on sale because the rental place was closing, and while I did enjoy playing it for the most part, it felt extremely limited and empty in comparison to Borderlands, which is the obvious game one would compare RAGE to. I loved doing the races, but everything else just didn't seem as good to me, I have yet to finish that game.

BF3 is good, I started the campaign the day I got it and it was a lot different than I'd expected, but I gave up on it shortly and hopped on to multiplayer, it's a great online experience in my opinion, but I got tired of it due to not having many friends to play it with, or having other games come around that take more time to play or mean more, have a thicker story, etc.

I was gonna check out Arkham City today but I thought about it, and I don't think there is one superhero game I enjoyed playing when I was younger. I know it's prejudging poorly, and all I've heard are great things about Arkham City, but being Batman isn't on my list of things to do right now, lol.

Nintendo never does get much unless it's a played out series that's been going on for years or some new exclusives.

Deus Ex: HR is a pretty good and easy to get into game.

I can't think of anything else though. I'm assuming you've already played Skyrim but if not play that. Or any of Bethesda's games (or Obsidian's F:NV.)

You should also try out the Portal games if you haven't already.
