Everyone on my FB is freaking out about hearing trumpets in the sky in town here all day, no reports on it on the news or anything... Wondering if you guys have heard anything wherever you are???
People are relating it to the bible, aliens, etc... I haven't been outside all day so idk... But I'm interested.
It's bothering my buddy quite a bit, he has heard them and his daughter said someone was in her bedroom making owl noises at her, she won't sleep now... So he thinks it's aliens cuz of that fourth kind flick having something similar..
Anyway, thoughts.... Share your shit, you hearing trumpets?
Sounds like one of those retarded mass hysteria things where people go with the flow and pretend to hear things because of social pressures.
Gotta love psychological phenomenon.
My best guess is from a military base that may be nearby, but I doubt it
I live close to an Air Force base so it's not uncommon to hear Taps playing in the distance at 9 every night
the only trumpet sounds I'v heard were from my Dad test out his new trumpet that he bought a coule days ago.
That could be jesus.
"and the third angel blew his trumpet." -revelation.
I love Dawn from Pokemon.
Several theories come to mind, most having to do with airplanes:
1. Airplane+Parachutist blowing trumpet loudly while falling=sounds in sky
2. Airplane+Parachutist with radio playing loud jazz station while falling=sounds in sky
3. Airplane+Parachutist blowing trumpet with megaphone attached loudly while falling=sounds in the sky
If you start hearing "Taps" or the "Funeral March", I would suggest getting out of town as quick as possible.

That's what I thought of too... Lol... That movie was good.
I never personally heard trumpets, just a high pitched buzzing during my smoke breaks at work all night.
Which can be explained through many of things.
To whomever asked, there is no CURRENT or ANY video at all of this, because nobody has posted anything and I am way too lazy to search right now as I just got home from a shitty bullshit night of work.
Maybe I'll search around later.

Ohhhh, I think I know what i'm gonna be doing Dec 21st this year.
Using a trumpet hidden outside a church.

I was gonna say that you shit >:(
But yeah, it's either mass hysteria or bandwagon trolling. Give it no mind. It's kinda like the "Did you hear that explosion" threads that sprouted up here a few months back.

And yes, aliens was my first theory.
Soccer games are being played in the sky, so now the vuvuzellas are blaring above you.

Hm. Well, did they say exactly what they sounded like? Were they just trumpets making noises, or were they playing music?

Air raid sirens don't really sound like trumpets, though. And if the town had air raid sirens and used them, I imagine the people living there would be used to them enough to not be fazed by them.
