My cousin has returned from a two week mountain climbing and brought a lot of pictures. What I noticed about the mist in the mountains is that it usually only covers a small area of the mountain. Like a mist around it where the top is clear. Like this.

I was also wondering, what brushes and tools do you use to render the face?
For the face I started a medium hard brush to lay down the basic colors, then came in with a small hard brush to get more detail and accuracy, then I followed up with a soft medium brush that had a grainy texture on it to get some subtle shadow and color.
I'm gonna move over to photoshop and a wacom tablet after this picture so I may change some stuff up since I'll be using better tools.
